Technical Committee was established in the field of electric power engineering and renewable energy

New Technical Committee on standardization of electric power engineering and renewable energy (AZSTAND / TK 46) was established, its charter and structure were approved.

The Technical Committee aims to ensure the participation of interested parties in the creation of a regulatory framework in areas such as the formation of a competitive environment in the electricity market, ensuring the effective operation of electric power entities, stimulating the use of renewable energy sources in the electricity generation, efficient use of energy resources and ensuring energy efficiency.

The chairmanship and secretariat of the Technical Committee established by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute under Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy is carried out by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
