According to operational data for January-February 2024, Azerbaijan produced 8.2 bcm of natural gas for two months. 2.1 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 4.5 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 0.3 bcm and 1.3 bcm gas respectively. Gas was transported with an increase of approximately 240 million cubic meter compared to the relevant period last year.

During this period, gas sales amounted to 4.1 bcm, which was equal to the same period previous year. 2.1 billion cubic meters of gas were sold to Europe, 1.4 billion cubic meters to Türkiye, and 0.6 billion cubic meters to Georgia. It should be noted that, during this period nearly 0.8 bcm gas was exported to Türkiye through TANAP.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz till 1 March 2024, about 218.5 bcm of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and more than 213.6 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. During this period, 151.5 bcm gas was exported from Shah Deniz.

Azerbaijan produced 4.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-February 2024. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 2.7 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 0.7 million tons (condensate) and Absheron for 96 thousand tons. SOCAR's oil output amounted to 1,3 million tons (including condensate).

During two months, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 3.9 million tons. Out of this, consortium accounts for nearly 3.4 million tons, SOCAR for 0.5 million tons.

Since its commissioning till 1 March 2024, 632.7 million tons oil (including condensate) were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 587.5 million tons of crude oil were extracted from ACG, while about 45.2 million tons condensate from Shah Deniz. Till 1 March 2024, more than 630.7 million tons were exported.

During January-February 2024, oil refining in the country amounted to approximately 1.1 million tons.
