Azerbaijan-Albania energy cooperation was discussed in the UAE

Within the COP 28 in Dubai, a meeting was held between Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Deputy Prime Minister of Albania - Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries in a new level. The important role of energy cooperation with Azerbaijan in ensuring energy security and development of Albania as a country of gas transit was noted. The sides exchanged views on cooperation in gasification of the Albanian city of Korce, supply of crude oil and other promising directions.

Issues related to the establishment of a Joint Intergovernmental Commission on the basis of the Working Group on economic, industrial and technological cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania and the holding of the Commission's meeting in Baku were also discussed.
