Tree planting action was held in Gobustan settlement

Employees from the Ministry of Energy, AREA, and Masdar held a tree planting action in Gobustan settlement of Garadagh district.

500 trees were planted and landscaping work was carried out. The action, the purpose of which is to contribute to the protection of the environment and the increase of greenery, was carried out within the framework of corporate social responsibility measures in connection with the project of Garadagh Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 230 MW by Masdar.

It should be noted that at the moment, at the expense of more than 220 million USD investment, we are cooperating with Masdar on the construction of the Garadagh SPP with a capacity of 230 MW. The station is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year.
