Energy cooperation opportunities were discussed with Poland

A meeting was held between Parviz Shahbazov, Energy Minister and Daniel Obajtek, the President of the Management Board of PKN Orlen Group.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the activities of PKN Orlen Group and its existing cooperation with SOCAR on the supply of crude oil. PKN Orlen Group expressed interest in broad cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields.

During the conversation, information was given about Azerbaijan's partnership with the European Union to increase gas supplies to Europe, as well as the transportation of green energy via new infrastructures, as well as renewable energy projects being implemented.  Promising directions for cooperation with Polish companies were brought to the attention and it was noted that Azerbaijan is ready to support the development of relations in the field of energy.
