The date of OPEC meetings in Baku announced

The 27th meeting of the Joint Technical Commission (JTC) of OPEC and non-OPEC countries and the 13th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) in Baku have been agreed on. It was proposed in the letter sent to the Ministry of Energy by the OPEC Secretariat to hold the next meetings of Joint Technical Commission and the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee in Baku on 17-18 March 2019.

Azerbaijan has from the very beginning supported the initiatives proposed by OPEC to stabilize oil prices. Since 2016, Azerbaijan has been an active participant of the oil market balancing process in OPEC+ format and has fully implemented its commitment.
