Seminar on liberal electricity markets was held

An online seminar in the field of liberal electricity markets was organized by the Ministry of Energy with the participation of representatives from AREA, AERA, “Azerishig” OJSC and “Azerenergy” OJSC.

During the 5-days training, associate professor and founder-academician director of the master's program on renewable energy of the School of Engineering and science of Adolfo Ibanez University in Chile Shahriyar Nesirov provided detailed information on features and advantages of liberal electricity markets, market mechanisms, efficient use of resources, risk management in electricity markets, market monitoring and other topics, presentations were demonstrated and participants' questions were answered.
