The meeting of the Working Group on Connection to Power Supply Networks was held

On 23 May, the next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held.

The head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev made an opening speech and provided information about the agenda of the meeting. Then, Vusal Shikhaliyev, the Head of the Secretariat of the Commission made presentations on the new project “Business Enabling Environment” of the World Bank Group by indicating the differences between the previous report of Doing Business, as well as on the work to be done in connection with the diagnostics of the above-mentioned project on the indicator Connection to Utility Services.

Farruh Heybatov, the advisor to the chairman of Azerishig OJSC informed about the work done in the relevant period of the current year on the Communication Strategy for Connection to the Power Supply Network, which serves to further increase the level of awareness and satisfaction of business entities, as well as the implementation status of the measures envisaged in the Action Plan for 2022 approved by the Working Group.

Representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Economy, Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Azerishig OJSC andState Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations attended the meeting.
