2094 appeals were received by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Agency in the first quarter of this year

In the first quarter of this year, the Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Agency received 2094 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity supply, natural gas supply. 

1512 of them were related to electricity supply, 299 to natural gas supply, 6 of them were related to heating system. 208 of them were related to other issues. 69 of them were letters of thanks. The call center received 21 calls related to gas leak and carbon monoxide from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. 

Call Center and Hot Line of the Ministry of Energy provided uninterrupted service on Novruz holiday days (20-28 March) in an intensified mode. To ensure continuity in the reception and review of citizens' appeals, both the Ministry of Energy and the Agency have been assigned coordinators, and officers on duty have been appointed for Energy Regulatory Agency branches. During this period, 58 appeals were received by Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Agency and appropriate measures were taken for their solutions.  Appeals were related to electricity and natural gas supply, installation of meters, gratitude, employment and other issues. All calls received by Call Center were answered promptly, the appeals, which need to be investigated, have been sent to the relevant authorities, and individuals, who appeal to the Call Center, were answered about the results of investigations.    

Applications are received through only electronic and telephone communication by Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
