Azerbaijan will be represented at World Petroleum council events in Saint-Petersburg
The Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will visit to Saint-Petersburg of Russia to participate at next meeting and 6th Youth Forum of World Petroleum Council tomorrow.
Azerbaijan will be represented with broad delegation at World Petroleum Council which is consisted of 62 members and to be held on June 23. Speech of the Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, video-presentation about historical and modern development of Azerbaijan as an oil country are envisaged within the event. Azerbaijan will also be represented by special board to inform World Petroleum Council members about our country.
Within the meeting the country which will host 24th World Petroleum Congress of World Petroleum Council in 2023 will be determined. Azerbaijan, represented in the World Petroleum Council since 2005, is one of the five candidate countries to host the event.
On June 24, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will attend at the 6th Youth Forum, organized by the World Petroleum Council and with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia. The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov, as well as Russia`s Minister of Energy Alexander Novak will make a speech on “Energy Transformation, Energy Map of the Future”.
It should be noted that, the forum held every three years in different countries, is considered to be an international platform where young professionals, experts and companies share their experiences on the oil and gas industry.
