519 applications were received through the Technical Councils in the first quarter of 2020

The Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy received 519 applications during the first quarter of 2020 for connection of enterprises to electricity network through the Technical Councils operating at “ASAN Service” and “ASAN Utility Centers”.

The implementation of 518 applications within the quarter was ensured, and an application was not implemented due to incompatibility in the submitted documents.

At present, 12 Technical Councils operate in the “ASAN service” and “ASAN Utility Centers”.

It should be noted that Technical Councils were established pursuant to the second part of the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1313 dated April 04, 2017 “On simplification of the electricity power supply procedures for existing construction facilities or for the ones to be constructed by entrepreneurs”.
