The next meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held

The next hybrid meeting of the Technical Committee on standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held at the Ministry of Energy.

Khalida Masimova, Deputy Head of Administration of the Ministry and Chair of the Technical Committee, delivered remarks on the importance of developing new standards in the energy sector and highly appreciated the work carried out by the members of the Technical Committee in this area.

During the meeting, representatives of the Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy and the Public Legal Entity Azerbaijan Standardization Institute presented the final versions of 22 draft standards covering electricity storage systems, air-conditioning equipment, heat exchangers, lamp control gear, uninterruptible power supply systems, instrument transformers and other areas. It was noted that the drafts had been prepared in accordance with the norms and requirements of international standards. The content of the standards, amendments made to the drafts, as well as comments and proposals from the relevant institutions, were discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, taking into account the views of the Technical Committee members, it was agreed to submit the draft standards to the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute Public Legal Entity for adoption.
