5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum will be held
The 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum will be held in Baku on 11 September with the participation of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
The Forum is expected to feature discussions on hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, the electricity market, renewable energy, regulation, mining and other areas, as well as the signing of the Forum Protocol.
A press briefing is planned to be held at the conclusion of the Forum.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum was established within the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries in order to further strengthen strategic energy cooperation. The first Forum was held in Baku on 21-22 December 2021, the second in Istanbul on 5-6 October 2022, the third in Nakhchivan on 28-29 September 2023, and the fourth in Izmir on 4 September 2025.
