First Meeting of the newly constituted Public Council under the Ministry of Energy was held

The first meeting of the newly constituted Public Council under the Ministry of Energy was held.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on matters related to the organisation of the Public Council’s activities, and a vote was held to elect its Chair. Rustam Shafagatov, Founder and Chairman of the Alternative Energy Research Center Public Union, was elected Chair of the Public Council, which will serve for a two-year term. Rustam Karimov, Project Manager of the Clean Production and Energy Efficiency Center Public Union, was elected Deputy Chair, while Farhad Rustamzade, Chairman of the Eurasia Energy and Sustainable Development Public Union, was elected Secretary.
