65 permits were issued by Ministry of Energy in the second quarter

During the second quarter of 2026, 65 permits were issued by the Ministry of Energy.  According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Export Control, the Ministry of Energy has issued 5 permits for the export goods (works, services and results of intellectual activity) that are subject to export control, 56 for import and 3 for transit.

Only one permit for electricity generation is issued for electricity generation exceeding 500 kilowatts at hydropower plants and power plants generating electricity and thermal energy from biogas or other types of fuel derived from biomass; and electricity generation exceeding 150 kilowatts in all other cases.

All permits were issued through ASAN Service Center No. 7 during the reporting period.
