An event was held on the occasion of Professional Holiday of Civil Servants

The event was held at the Ministry of Energy on the occasion of 23 June - Professional Holiday of Civil Servants at the Ministry of Energy.

Deputy Minister Samir Valiyev congratulated the Ministry’s staff on the occasion and emphasized that this day serves as an expression of appreciation for the valuable contributions and dedication of civil servants. It was noted that the establishment and development of the civil service system in Azerbaijan are closely associated with the name of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Under his leadership, the foundations of a civil service institution based on the principles of professionalism, transparency and effective public administration were laid in the country. Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the civil service system has been further enhanced and aligned with modern challenges. Consistent reforms have been implemented to strengthen the professionalism of civil servants, ensure citizen satisfaction and reinforce the traditions of statehood.

During the event, Head of the Ministry’s Department of Civil Service and Organizational Management Asad Ismayilov, along with other employees, also addressed the participants. They highlighted the significance of the occasion and stressed the importance of carrying out the tasks set by the Head of State in a timely manner, with high quality and the utmost professionalism.

It should be noted that, according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated 25 May 2006, 23 June is celebrated annually in Azerbaijan as Civil Servants’ Professional Holiday.
