Deputy Energy Minister attended the 21st GLOBSEC 2026 Forum
On 21-23 May Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov participated in the 21st GLOBSEC 2026 Forum in Prague, the Czech Republic.
Speaking at the panel session of the forum on Shockwaves Across Energy Markets and the Race for Advantage, the Deputy Minister spoke about Azerbaijan's contribution to the energy security of Europe and the region. The expansion of the geography of oil and gas supply was discussed, and the importance of attracting investments in traditional energy sources and upstream projects was noted. It was noted that Azerbaijan is an energy link bridge between Central Asia, the Caspian and Black Seas, Europe and the Middle East, and information was given on green energy transition projects, plans and future goals, as well as green energy corridors in our country.
Within the Forum, a meeting was held with the Director General of Trade and Industry of the Czech Republic (acting Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry ) Rene Nedela and issues of mutual interest in the field of energy cooperation were discussed.
It should be noted that the GLOBSEC Forum on Global Systemic Transformation with the participation of the President of the Czech Republic is dedicated to the discussion of issues such as European security, including energy security and strengthening defense potential, the intersection of technology and geopolitics, as well as the formation of a new global order.
