A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with representatives of the United States Department of State and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor at the United States Department of State, and Sarah Leming, Country Manager for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov emphasized the special importance of the strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States. During the meeting, discussions focused on the diversification of energy routes and sources, the expansion of renewable energy projects, and the development of regional interconnectors. In particular, it was noted that the Caspian–Black Sea–Europe, Central Asia–Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan–Georgia–Türkiye–Bulgaria connectivity projects would contribute to energy security across the broader region. It was also highlighted that there are broad opportunities for U.S. companies to participate in these projects as technology, financing, and infrastructure partners.
The participants agreed to continue discussions at the working level.
