The Minister of Energy held several meetings in Türkiye

Within the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, meetings were held between Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Environment, Climate and Energy of Slovenia Bojan Kumer.

The meeting with Türkiye`s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar touched upon the role of the Azerbaijani-Turkish energy partnership in ensuring global energy security and sustainable energy supply. The current situation in the field of gas supply has been assessed. Also, the development of Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe and Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye-Bulgaria green energy interconnector projects was considered. It was agreed to speed up the processes. The next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum was held in Azerbaijan during the year.

Slovenian Minister of Environment, Climate and Energy Bojan Kumer expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral energy relations. The sides exchanged views on the possibilities of continuing gas supplies to Slovenia from Azerbaijan, cooperation opportunities in potential areas and strengthening mutual consultations.

The Slovenian side was invited to participate in the events to be held within the Baku Energy Week.
