Extraordinary Election Conference of Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Energy was held

At the Ministry of Energy, a reporting and election conference of the Ministry’s Trade Union Committee was held with the participation of Elnur Janiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union.

Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev, who chairs the conference, noted that Trade Unions play an important role in protecting the rights of workers, including supporting the solution of social and domestic issues. Then the agenda of the meeting was brought to the attention of the participants, the daily voting was held and the regulation was determined.

At the conference, reports on the work carried out over the past year by the Trade Union Committee (TUC) and the Control-Inspection Commission were heard. The names of the candidates for the membership of the Trade Union Committee were announced. Both the reports and the membership list were voted and approved.

Later, the issue on the election of the chairman of the Trade Union Committee was discussed and taking into account that the work carried out during the reporting period was satisfactory, Khalida Masimova was renominated. The proposal was accepted unanimously.

At the same time, the nomination of candidates to the composition of the Control and Inspection Commission was announced and both members and the chairman were elected by voting.

Elnur Janiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union, highly praised the activities carried out by the Trade Union and wished the employees success.
