Azerbaijan-Bulgaria energy cooperation was discussed

Deputy Energy Minister Kamal Abbasov met with Energy Minister of Bulgaria Vladimir Malinov, who is on a visit to our country within the sixth Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on further strengthening existing energy cooperation and exploring new opportunities. The sides discussed the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via TAP and Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, as well as the diversification of natural gas supply networks, and emphasized the important role of our country in ensuring energy security. During the conversation, discussions were held on the energy transition, green energy corridors and other topics of mutual interest.
