The next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply grid was held
On 22 December, the next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held in video conference format.
The Head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Energy, Samir Valiyev made an opening speech and informed about the agenda of the meeting, talked about the work done during the past period and the upcoming tasks. In his speech, the Head of the Commission Secretariat, Vusal Shikhaliyev appreciated the activities carried out by the working group during the year in the field of connecting business entities to electricity supply grids, and drew attention to the achievements in the direction of further improving the position of our country in international rankings.
According to the agenda, information was given about the work done in connection with the tasks given at the last meeting of the Working Group. The report on the status of implementation of the roadmap for 2022-2023 in the current year on the Utilities (electricity) indicator of the World Bank's B-Ready report was made. They were informed about the work done to respond to the survey on the utilities (electricity) indicator, as well as discussed the measures to be taken in accordance with the agenda, and presented recommendations for further improvement of indicators.
The representatives of the Ministries of Energy and Economy, Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Azerishig OJSC, Azerenergy OJSC, State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovations and other relevant institutions and private companies that are members of the working group represented at the meeting.
