TAP AG, the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline operator, reported on the completion of more than 4 and a half years of construction of TAP, which will transport Azerbaijani natural gas to Europe. It was reported that the TAP pipeline has been filled with natural gas from the Greek-Turkish border to the natural gas reception terminal in southern Italy. TAP is currently finalizing preparatory work for launching commercial operations and offering potential to the market in accordance with ISOs. The coordination between the TAP pipeline and the Snam Rete Gas Natural Gas Transmission System in Puglia (Italy) is expected to be completed in November this year and ready for gas transportation.

Finishing the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline (TAP) is an important step in the commissioning of the Southern Gas Corridor. TAP, as another energy link connecting our country with Europe for a long time, will strengthen Azerbaijan's strategic role in energy security, cooperation and sustainable development.
