4211 appeals were received by the Ministry of Energy and agencies under the Ministry last year

In 2020, the Ministry of Energy, Energy Regulatory Agency, Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency received 4211 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity supply, natural gas supply, heat supply, renewable energy and other issues.  2849 of them were related to electricity supply, 651 to natural gas supply, 12 to renewable energy, 53 to heat energy, 646 to other issues. 
Appeals covered mainly to connection to the power supply network, meter problems, uselessness of electrical equipment and devices for operation, quality of electricity, interruptions in electricity and gas supply, gasification, debt and fines, installation of meters, heat supply, employment and other issues. 
These appeals have been investigated and answered by the Ministry of Energy, Energy Regulatory Agency and Renewable Energy Agency.
During the reporting period, approximately 100 appeals were received via Facebook account of the Ministry of Energy, which were promptly responded to, and the complaints were investigated and executed by the Energy Regulatory Agency and the results were sent to the individuals.
