Next Board Meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy

A Board Meeting was held via videoconferencing on the tasks carried out in the past period under the chairmanship of the Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, with the participation of members of the Board, structural divisions and agencies under the Ministry. 

Opening the meeting, Chairman of the Board Parviz Shahbazov drew attention to the implementation of the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the field of energy and noted that important work was done in this direction both last year and the beginning of the current year. The speakers were invited to start the speeches by providing information on the issues on the agenda of the meeting.

According to the agenda, the Head of the Press Section- Press Secretary Jahid Mikayilov and the representatives of the agencies under the Ministry presented reports on the measures taken in the direction of implementation of the communication strategy of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2023 and questions were answered. Then, the Head of Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency Tabriz Ammayev and other speakers provided information about the status of implementation of the issues arising from the concept of Green Energy Zone in the liberated territories and the work done.

At the Board Meeting, the status of executive discipline in the Ministry of Energy for 2021, statistics of citizen appeals and measures taken in connection with the applications, the level of implementation of work plans, the work done on the development and coordination of sub-legislative acts arising from the newly adopted legislative acts, the results of the relevant structural divisions were brought to the attention. Information was provided on the steps taken to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of the tasks arising from the relevant regulations.

At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the board Parviz Shahbazov gave relevant instructions on the work to be done and the implementation of the forthcoming tasks, further improvement of control over the implementation of documents and compliance with the execution discipline.
