Board Meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy

A board meeting of the Ministry of Energy was held in a hybrid format dedicated to the discussion of the work done in the relevant areas last year and the forthcoming tasks this year. The members of the board, representatives of structural divisions and subordinate bodies of the Ministry attended the meeting, chaired by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.

Noting the ongoing reforms in the field of energy, the chairman of the board spoke about the achievements in the field of energy last year under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that international cooperation in the field of energy was also developed within the framework of the reforms. In this direction, the role of joint intergovernmental commissions in strengthening bilateral relations with foreign countries was emphasized. At the same time, the importance of timely and qualitative implementation of the tasks assigned to the structural divisions and subordinate bodies of the ministry in accordance with the directions of activity was noted.

Then, according to the agenda of the meeting, a presentation on the activities of intergovernmental commissions co-chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan was heard. Information was provided on the meetings of intergovernmental commissions held over the past period and the measures taken within the commissions, and the work done in connection with the meetings planned to be held in the first half of this year was brought to the attention.

Then a report was provided on the state of executive discipline and consideration of citizens' appeals at the Ministry of Energy for 2022, administrative offenses, issuance of permits, reception of citizens in the Ministry and in the regions and the state of consideration of appeals, implementation of the tasks stipulated by the Work Plan of the Ministry for the past year, as well as the implementation status of the tasks arising out of the Orders and Decrees by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan were reviewed.

In conclusion, the chairman of the board gave relevant instructions on the measures to be taken, the steps to be taken and the effective implementation of the forthcoming tasks in the current year.
