Minister of Energy has received Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has received Nikolaos Piperigkos, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Azerbaijan.

The minister stressed the cooperation as part of the global energy project - the Southern Gas Corridor, underlining the successful continuation of cooperation with Greece as a buyer of the Shah Deniz 2 gas via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP). Greece's participation in all sessions of the Southern Gas Corridor AdvisoryCouncil was highly appreciated.

The participants in the meeting discussed proposals on holding the next session of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Greece in economic, industrial and technological spheres, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
