Minister of Energy meets with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States

Minister of Energy meets with the delegation led by Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTSS) Baghdad Amreyev. At the meeting, the current status and prospects of energy cooperation within the organization were discussed.
Minister Parviz Shahbazov highly appreciated the constant support of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States for Azerbaijan's position based on international law and justice, and thanked the Secretary General for the international support to the justice war, especially during the 44-days Patriotic War.
Then, the sides exchanged views on the bilateral cooperation with turkic speaking countries in the field of energy, on the further deepening of this cooperation on the basis of the organization's platform. Along with traditional areas, the Minister stressed the great potential of expanding relations between turkic speaking countries in recent years, especially in the fields of energy efficiency, use of renewable energy sources, energy regulation and others.
Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev reiterated his support to Azerbaijan`s legitimate position, expressed his views on the restoration of the liberated territories, and then gave information about the organization's activities, the work done and future plans. 
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the measures to be taken in the energy sector within Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the organization, including the first meeting of the energy ministers and the energy working group of CCTSS.
