Minister of Energy has received ambassador of Romania to Azerbaijan

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Azerbaijan Dan Iancu. 
Underlining the fruitful activity of the Romanian ambassador, whose term of office has expired, in the direction of developing the relations between the two countries, the Minister expressed confidence that these relations will continue to develop in various fields.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the importance of the Southern Gas Corridor for the development of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania, and Romania's continued participation in the Ministerial Meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council was considered as an indicator of interest and support to this project. The prospects of expansion of the project thanks to increasing the throughput capacity in the future were discussed. 
A number of other issues of mutual interest in energy cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
