Minister of Energy has received German ambassador to Azerbaijan

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Wolfgang Manig. The current level of bilateral relations in the field of energy and prospects for development were discussed at the meeting.
The Minister informed about the work done to expand the use of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan, improve the legislation in this area, establish a green energy zone in the liberated territories. 
The ambassador spoke about the experience of Germany in the field of renewable energy, and also presented an invitation letter to the International Conference “Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2021”, scheduled for 16-17 March this year.  
Other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
