International Energy Charter Secretary-General’s statement on Energy Security in the South Caucasus  

Secretary-General of the International Energy Charter issues a statement on energy security in the South Caucasus. According to Advisor-Press Secretary of the Minister of Energy Zamina Aliyeva, the Secretary-General Urban Rusnak urges all parties involved to act in line with their international commitments and to refrain from any action that could affect critical energy infrastructure or significantly disrupt or interrupt the energy supply.

It should be noted that the Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov addressed an appeal to the Secretariat of the International Energy Charter and other international energy organizations reflecting the information on targeting the oil and power infrastructure of Azerbaijan and called to condemn the provocations of Armenia.
