The energy cooperation road map between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in Almaty was discussed

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Azim Akhmedkhadjaev, First Deputy Minister of Energy, Acting Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the Meeting of Energy Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, the issues arising from the implementation of the Road Map signed in August this year on the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the field of energy were discussed. The sides also exchanged views on cooperation on transportation of oil and petrochemical products from Azerbaijan, electric and gas turbine stations projects, as well as energy regulation.  It was noted that the political will of the Heads of States and the tasks set are the basis of our activities related to the development of comprehensive relations between our countries. Thanks to the strengthening of mutual efforts and coordinated activities, our multifaceted areas of cooperation in the energy sector will contribute to the deepening of our strategic partnership between the two countries.
