AERA announced results on citizen appeals, commissioning act and permits, project coordination and Technical Councils for the first quarter of 2021

CONSUMER RIGHTS AND CITIZEN APPEALS

In the first quarter, agency received 1712 citizen appeals directly and from the Ministry of Energy on electricity, natural gas supply, heat supply and other fields:

1091- power supply
341- natural gas supply
22- heat supply
258- various issues.

1082 out of 1712 appeals were investigated and answered by the Agency (9 appeals have been been sent the relevant authorities for investigating and taking appropriate measures);
3 appeal was jointly executed in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy;
429 appeals are currently being implemented;
50 out of 198 informative appeals were letters of thanks related to solving of problems raised.  

POWER SUPPLY AND GAS SUPPLY

During the repording period, commissioning acts were provided to the external electrical installations of 34 new or reconstructed construction facilities, including the ones that increased capacity and modified its power supply scheme;
 Project documents of 49 electrical installations on the power supply to various construction facilities were expertised and agreed;
11 project documents were rejected due to the shortcomings found;
In accordance with the agreed 250 projects, the operation of the completed industrial gas facilities was allowed during the first three months of the year. 
In the first quarter 931 project documents of construction facilities for gas supply were expertised and agreed. 
12 project documents on gas installations were rejected due to the shortcomings found;
It was found out that 2 facilities were connected to electricity networks without technical documentation;
It was found out that 3 facilities were connected to gas networks without technical documentation;
40 protocols on Administrative Violations were prepared by Agency, and 51 decisions on them were made;
The technical condition of 16 electric meters was checked with the participation of the representatives of “Azerenergy” OJSC, “Azerishig” OJSC.

TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS IN BUDGET-FUNDED ENTERPRISES

37 technical investigations were carried out related to investigate technical operation of electrical facilities, observance of the safety rules and the status of the use of electricity;
38 technical inspections were carried out to investigate the status of observance of the requirements of the efficient use of gas, "Rules on the Use of Gas" and reliable operation of gas equipment, as well as observance of other normative legal acts in first quarter.   

TEST OF PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

In the first quarter, 147 electro technical staff and safety engineers in 24 enterprises has been checked for knowledge of labor safety, technical operation and safety, and proposals were made to increase knowledge and methodological assistance was provided. 

TECHNICAL COUNCILS

544 appeals were received for connection of enterprises to electricity network through the Technical Councils. All applications were received at Technical Councils in 17 "ASAN service" and 1 "ASAN Kommunal" Centers, Khachmaz SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises).   All these appeals have been positively resolved.
