Another training was organized for civil servants at the Ministry of Energy

A training was organised within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and the State Examination Centre (SEC) to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of civil servants, promote the application of competency-based approaches in the civil service, and expand opportunities for the use of modern assessment tools.

The training, entitled Application of the Competency Model in the Civil Service and Assessment Tools, featured presentations by representatives of the SEC. Detailed information was provided on the proper determination of the general competency model of civil service in presentations, competency levels and behavioral indicators, methods for assessing required competencies and professionalism levels, as well as the specifics of applying situational judgment tests. Real-life workplace situations were also discussed, team-based exercises were completed, and the participants exchanged views on the topic. Participants’ questions were answered during the interactive discussions.

A total of 28 employees from the Ministry of Energy and Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency participated in the training session.
