Ministry of Energy hosted an event dedicated to the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party

The Ministry of Energy hosted an event dedicated to the outcomes of the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the speech delivered at the Congress by the Party's Chairman, President Ilham Aliyev.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov highlighted the strategic priorities outlined by the Head of State at the Congress held on 2 October. He once again drew the attention of the participants to the President's remarks on the importance of protecting national security and strong statehood, ensuring economic independence and strengthening energy security. At the same time the Deputy Minister also emphasized the importance of implementing the tasks set for accelerating the restoration and reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangezur, as well as the Great Return Programme.

Mukhtar Naghiyev, Chairman of the YAP Sabail District Organization, touched upon President Ilham Aliyev's remarks on ideological security, highlighting the responsibilities of party members in countering ideological provocations. He also emphasized the importance of further strengthening Azerbaijan's position among influential powers on the international stage and nurturing educated, patriotic and capable Azerbaijani citizens.

Head of the Ministry's Civil Service and Organizational Management Department Asad Ismayilov stated that the tasks assigned by the Head of State to YAP members remain a constant priority.

At the conclusion of the event, party membership cards were presented to employees of the Ministry who had recently joined the New Azerbaijan Party.
