According to operational data for January-June 2026, a total of 13.3 million tons of oil (including condensate) was produced in the country. Of this volume, 7.9 million tons were generated from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 1.7 million tons from Shah Deniz, and 0.3 million tons from the Absheron field. SOCAR's oil output amounted to 3,4 million tons (including condensate).

During this period, 10.5 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported. Of the total exports, 9.5 million tons accounted for consortiums, 0.7 million tons for SOCAR, and 0.3 million tons for JOCAP.

It should be noted that during the first half of 2026, the daily oil production (including condensate) was 61 thousand tons (449thousand barrels). Among these, 12 thousand tons (103 thousand barrel) were condensate. Overall, total oil production averaged 73 thousand tons (552 thousand barrels) per day.

Oil refining in the reporting period amounted to about 2.9 million tons.

In January-June 2026, the country produced 25.4 bcm of natural gas. Of the total gas output, 7.3 bcm came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 13.7 bcm from Shah Deniz, 0.8 bcm from the Absheron field, and 3.6 bcm from SOCAR.

During this period, gas exports amounted to 12.7 bcm. Of this, 5.9 bcm were exported to Europe, 4.9 bcm to Türkiye (including 3 bcm via TANAP), 1.2 bcm to Georgia, and 0.7 bcm to Syria.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields until 1 July 2026, nearly 679.8 million tons of oil (including gas condensate) and 529.6 bcm of gas have been produced. Specifically, 625.6 million tons of oil and 251.1 bcm of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, while Shah Deniz yielded nearly 54.2 million tons of condensate and 278.5 bcm of gas.
