The meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held.

The next hybrid meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held at the Ministry of Energy.

The meeting, chaired by Khalida Masimova, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry and Chair of the Technical Committee, discussed the nationalized draft of the international standard Electrical Energy Storage (EES) Systems – Part 1: Vocabulary (IEC 62933-1). Representatives of the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute CJSC and member organizations of the Technical Committee participated in the meeting.

A representative of the Energy Regulatory Agency presented the draft and noted that it had been improved based on the comments provided by members of the Technical Committee. Proposals from relevant institutions regarding the draft were also discussed during the meeting. 

The importance of nationalizing terminology for the electric power sector of Azerbaijan was emphasized at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, a decision was made to approve the draft, taking into account the proposed comments, and to submit it to the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute CJSC.
