An information session on Energy Audit was held at the Ministry of Energy

An information session on energy efficiency and energy audit was organized at the Ministry of Energy. Representatives from various organizations operating in the field of energy efficiency and energy audit services participated in the session. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness among participants about the legal and practical aspects of energy audit, the key directions of state policy in this field, and the implementation mechanisms.

During the session, detailed information was presented on topics such as "What is energy audit?", "Who is an energy auditor?", "Energy management system", and "Organization and reporting of energy audits". Additionally, the importance of energy auditing for energy consumers was emphasized, as well as the measures to be taken to improve energy efficiency identified through the audit, and the economic and environmental significance of the energy savings to be achieved. It was noted that the Energy Efficiency Fund of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy was established in order to promote the development of this area and support the subjects to be carried out energy audits.

At the end of the session, participants' questions were answered, discussions were held on the issues of interest, and suggestions for improvements in the field of energy auditing were reviewed.
