The meeting of the Trade Union Committee was held at the Ministry of Energy

The meeting of the Trade Union Committee was held at the Ministry of Energy with the participation of Rufat Zamanov, the Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union.

Akif Afandiyev, who had served efficiently for many years at the Ministry of Energy and has retired upon reaching the age of 70, has been awarded an Honorary Certificate by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of Azerbaijan. The Chairman of the Committee emphasized that trade unions are distinguished not only by their role in protecting the socio-economic interests of employees, but also by valuing the labor of people who have been active for many years and have contributed to the staff with their experience and knowledge.

Deputy Minister Kamal Abbasov spoke about Akif Afandiyev's many years of fruitful activity, responsible and noble attitude to work, as well as his support for young employees and wished him success in his future life.

Akif Efendiyev thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and the Trade Union for the attention and care shown.

At the meeting, information was provided about the activities of the Trade Union Committee, exchange of views on the work to be done in the direction of strengthening the social protection of employees and efficient organization of leisure time.
