An event dedicated to Remembrance Day was held at the Ministry of Energy
The Ministry of Energy held an event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of 27 September – Remembrance Day.
First, the memory of our martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov spoke about the heroic deeds of our soldiers who ended the decades-long conflict with a unique victory under the unparalleled leadership and iron will of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that Azerbaijan has set an example to the world with its brilliant victory achieved in a complex geopolitical environment and with its large-scale post-conflict reconstruction. The Karabakh Victory was highlighted as a gateway to lasting peace, development, and stability in the region, with the modern reconstruction model of Karabakh and East Zangazur being implemented on the basis of the Green Energy Zone concept, alongside the successful realization of the Great Return.
At the event, Rena Azimzada, the employee of the Ministry spoke about the resilience and dedication of Azerbaijani women; Seymur Azammadov, the member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy emphasized the significance of Remembrance Day as a day of unity; and Javad Ahmadli, an employee of the Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry, a participant in the Patriotic War, spoke about his way of fighting, the heroism of our soldiers and the pride he feels to keep the memory of his comrades-in-arms alive.
The event concluded with the screening of a short video dedicated to Remembrance Day.
