The next meeting of the Working Group on energy supply of the Interdepartmental Center was held in Khankendi

The next meeting of the Working Group on energy supply issues, operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters, created for centralized resolution of issues in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, has been held in Khankendi.

The Head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Elnur Soltanov informed about the state of implementation of the tasks in the field of energy covering our liberated territories in the strategic documents. It was noted that as an integral part of the policy carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the restoration of territories, the priority is to build energy infrastructure on the basis of modern requirements, and large-scale projects are being implemented in this direction in a phased and systematic manner.

At the meeting, a presentation was made on the gasification process in Khankendi city, Aghdere and Khojaly districts, as well as in other liberated territories, and information was provided on the implementation schedule of the implemented projects and the planned work. The measures taken to build small hydroelectric power plants, new substations, transmission and distribution lines, reconstruct existing networks and create sustainable energy supply, as well as the work done on the implementation of projects in accordance with the concept of green energy zone were discussed on the electricity infrastructure.

At the end, relevant decisions were made to resolve the issues discussed.
