An event dedicated to the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty was held

In accordance with the Action Plan approved by the Ministry of Energy regarding to declaration of 2025 the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty in the Republic of Azerbaijan, an event on the theme Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan serves the welfare of the people and prosperity of the country was held within the Month of Human Rights. 

Deputy Head of Administration of the Ministry of Energy Khalida Masimova said that the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1995, developed thanks to the rich statehood experience, political foresight and decisive leadership of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, was an important turning point in the history of our country's independence. Consistent and purposeful steps taken under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev to deepen the basic principles of the Constitution were emphasized. As a result of the historic victory, the coverage of our sovereignty and legislation on our liberated territories was noted as an important moment in the history of constitutional State Building of our country.

Then the representatives from the Ombudsman's Office, SOCAR, Azerenergy OJSC and the AREA made speeches. The speeches touched upon issues such as the economic basis of the Constitution, energy resource management, human rights and environmental security.
