Extraordinary Election Conference of Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Energy was held.

Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev, who chairs the conference, noted that Trade Unions play an important role in protecting the rights of workers, including supporting the solution of social and domestic issues. It was emphasized that due to the change of workplace of the committee chairman, it was necessary to form a new board, and it was stated that an extraordinary election conference was organized for this purpose.

Fethulla Mustafayev, Azerbaijan Republican Committee of Trade Union of Workers of Oil and Gas Industry spoke about the requirements of legislative acts regulating the relevant field, as well as the measures taken by trade unions in the direction of effective organization of employees' rest, restoration of working capacity, protection and strengthening of health.

Then the agenda of the meeting was brought to the attention of the conference participants, the agenda and regulations were put to a vote and adopted.

It was decided that the Board of the Trade Un0ion Committee should consist o0f 5 people, and the inspection commission - of 3 people. Candidates were elected as members of the Board of the Trade Union Committee and the Audit Commission. Khalida Masimova, a member of the Board of Directors, was proposed to be elected to the position of Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, taking into account her long-term work experience, high organizational skills and effective activity, and the proposal was unanimously adopted.

The members of the Board of the Trade Union Committee and the Audit Commission elected in the new composition were wished success and expressed confidence that the new staff would adequately fulfill the tasks of the committee.
