According to operational data for January 2025, 2.3 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced throughout the republic. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 1.3 million tons of oil production, Shah Deniz for 0.3 million tons (condensate), and Absheron field for 0.5 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 0.6 million tons (including condensate).

During last month, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 2 million tons. Among these, consortium accounts for 1.7 million tons, SOCAR for 0.25 million tons, Absheron for 0.05 million tons.

Oil refining last year amounted to 0.6 million tons.

It should be noted that in January 2025, the daily production of oil (including condensate) was 74.5 thousand tons (559 thousand barrels). Among these, 61.7 thousand tons (454 thousand barrels) were crude oil, 12.8 thousand tons (105 thousand barrel) were condensate.

In January 2025, the country produced 3.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas. 1.1. bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 2 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 0.1 bcm and 0.7 bcm gas, respectively. 

During the reporting period, gas sales amounted to 2 bcm. 1 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 0.7 bcm to Türkiye, and 0.3 bcm to Georgia. During this period nearly 0.5 bcm gas was exported to Türkiye through TANAP.

Since its commissioning till 1 February 2025, 651.9 million tons oil (including condensate) and 469.6 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 602.9 million tons of oil, 230.8 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, and about 49 million tons of condensate and 238.8 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. Until 1 February 2025, 650 million tons of oil and 171 bcm of gas were exported from these fields.
