Azerbaijan sends another humanitarian aid to Ukraine consisting of electrical equipment

On 7 February 2025 another humanitarian aid was sent from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine. The cargo consisting of electrical equipment left the territory of Sumgayit Technology Park.

As is known, for this purpose, according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated 5 February 2025, funds were allocated in AZN equivalent of one million USD.

The initial humanitarian aid cargo sent under these funds includes electrical cables, wires and transformers. According to the appeal received by Ukraine, the mentioned supplies are intended for the restoration of sustainable supply of electricity to the territories affected by the war.

It should be noted that the total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine in connection with the current situation exceeded 40 million USD. By 2025, about 120 transformers and complete transformer points, about 70 generators, as well as more than 3.3 million meters of cables and wires were sent to Ukraine as electrical equipment.
