Azerbaijan-Hungary energy cooperation was discussed in Türkiye

Within the Istanbul Energy Forum Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.

Gas supplies from Azerbaijan, cooperation with Hungarian companies in the oil and gas sector and the implementation of the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor project, as well as the activities of the Joint Venture were the main topics of discussion at the meeting. The sides exchanged views on the current status of the feasibility study of the Green Energy Corridor and Bulgaria's accession to the project. The activities of the Working Group on energy between Azerbaijan and Hungary were also touched upon

and it was noted that the next meeting will be held in 2025.

During the conversation, it was noted that international support for COP29 energy initiatives will contribute to the goals of energy security and the transition to green energy.
