Parviz Shahbazov met with Tinne Van der Straeten, Belgium's Minister of Energy, and Babel Haidebroek, Head of the German Wind Energy Association (GWEA).  
During the meeting, with Belgium's Minister of Energy Tinne Van der Straeten, it was noted that COP29's energy initiatives support tripling renewable energy sources and doubling energy efficiency by covering the components necessary for the energy transition. The significance of the UAE-Azerbaijan-Brazil trio and the need to monitor adopted commitments were discussed. It was stated that energy corridors starting from the Caspian and Central Asia with Azerbaijan’s participation will contribute to the transition to green energy and supply diversification. The prospects of these projects ensuring regional energy cooperation were addressed. 
At the meeting with the President of the German Wind Energy Association (GWEA) Babel Haidebroek, the sides exchanged views on the transformation of Azerbaijan into green energy and the energy initiatives of COP29. Information about the potential of onshore wind energy  and wind energy in the Caspian Sea and implemented projects was given. Progress on the Caspian-European Green Energy Corridor and Central Asia-Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor projects was discussed. The cooperation opportunities with European and German companies on the development of offshore wind energy and the construction of production, equipment, transmission infrastructure within the green energy corridors projects, as well as on all components as buyers of green electricity and green hydrogen were considered.
