According to operational data for January-September 2024, during the 9 months of this year, 21.6 million tons of oil (along with gas condensate) were produced in the Republic.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 12.5 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 3.1 million tons (condensate) and Absheron for 0.4 million tons. SOCAR's oil output amounted to 5.6 million tons (including condensate).

The volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 17.9 million tons during 9 months. Out of this, consortium accounts for nearly 15.6 million tons, SOCAR for 2.3 million tons.

Oil refining in the reporting period amounted to about 5 million tons.

In September 2024, daily oil production (including condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 78.7 thousand tons, including 65 thousand tons crude oil and 13.7 thousand tons condensate.

For January- September 2024, 37.1 bcm of natural gas was produced in the country. 9.8 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 20.5 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 1.1 bcm and 5.7 bcm gas respectively. Gas was transported with an increase of approximately 1.1 bcm compared to the relevant period last year.

During this period, gas sales amounted to 18.4 bcm, which was 4.2 % more compared to the same period previous year. 9.4 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 7.3 bcm to Türkiye, and 1.7 bcm to Georgia. It should be noted that, during this period 4.2 bcm gas was exported to Türkiye through TANAP.

Since its commissioning till 1 October 2024, 644.8 million tons oil (including condensate) and 455.6 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 597.2 million tons oil and 226.1 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli. About 229.5 bcm of gas and nearly 47.6 million tons of condansate were extracted from Shah Deniz.

Up to 1 October 2024, approximately 642.9 million tons oil (including condensate), about 163.9 bcm of gas were exported.
