Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Peter Szijjarto in Bucharest

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov also met with Peter Szijjarto, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the results of the 8th Ministerial/Steering Committee Meeting on the Development and Transmission of Green Energy, the activities of the Joint Venture and other necessary issues in the direction of the implementation of the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor. The role of the regional green energy project in strengthening strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, as well as strengthening energy security and expanding energy cooperation in Europe was discussed.

The issues on the agenda of bilateral energy relations were also touched upon at the meeting. The current status of cooperation in Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz projects with Hungarian MOL Group and MVM companies was discussed.

The energy direction of the Action Agenda of the COP29 event was also mentioned during the conversation.
