The meeting of the Commission on the implementation of projects in the field of use of renewable energy sources was held

The next meeting of the commission established by the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on additional measures for the implementation of projects in the field of use of renewable energy sources was held at the Ministry of Energy.

Chairman of the commission, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov brought to the attention the matters on the agenda related to the implementation of the order and noted the tasks facing the Commission within Green World Solidarity Year.

According to the agenda, the Secretariat's report on the work done from the last meeting of the Commission to this day was heard. Later, information on the current status on the holding of auctions on renewable energy sources, the work done on the integration of green energy projects into the network was presented, and the main provisions of the National Action Plan on electromobility were discussed. The sides also exchanged views on the work done on the Shafag SPP implemented by bp and other current issues.

The representatives of the Ministries of Energy, Economy, Finance, Justice, Emergency Situations, Ecology and Natural Resources, Agriculture, Digital Development and Transport, State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Central Bank, ANAMA, Azerenergy OJSC, Azerishiq OJSC, AREA attended at the meeting.
